The Naturalist - Kentucky's Best Hot Tub Feature | Sleeps 4 | Dogs

Fantastic spot! Very cool layout, great (and working) hottub that was ready to be used upon arrival, and nice / accommodating hosts!! Would most definitely rent again!

I did a lot of research looking for a good cabin to propose to my, now, fiancée. I've been to some really nice cabins and even to a treehouse. This place was amazing. We chose the naturalist. After seeing the website, and again seeing it on tiktok, i knew this was the place. It had two beautiful bedrooms. One was on a loft, you used a ladder to get to, the master bedroom was beautiful. A wall of windows facing the sunrise, every morning was a sensation. The kitchen had all the utensils needed. Induction cooktop and microwave. I used the gas grill to cook every night. Fire pit with sitting rocks, there were blankets for the rocks, which was perfect, because we were there at the end of november. The hot tub was one of the best parts. Its located on the side of the mountain the cabin sits alongside. In the hot tub you have an elevated view of the area and treeline. It was a wonderful experience. Will definitely book a return trip.

Our stay at the Naturalist was great! It was the perfect place to come back and celebrate our engagement at the top of Chimney Top Rock! So romantic and peaceful. Mike was a super responsive host and the place was stocked with fun extras like shampoo, body wash, etc. The place was very clean. We could live in the hot tub at the naturalist! The most unique experience! Definitely need AWD/4WD to get in and out! Do not ignore this! The way in and out is an adventure, but well worth the stay.

The property is beautiful - the owners have put a lot of thought into every aspect and need we may have during our stay. The beauty of the rock formations and the embedded hot tub cannot be put into words! The drive in is rugged - a 4WD is needed but added some adventure to the stay. We definitely enjoyed our trip!

This was such a magical experience the views were breathtaking. The morning fog was ethereal and the way down there was definitely an experience. I can’t wait to go back.
