The Naturalist - Kentucky's Best Hot Tub Feature | Sleeps 4 | Dogs

Our stay at the Naturalist was great! It was the perfect place to come back and celebrate our engagement at the top of Chimney Top Rock! So romantic and peaceful. Mike was a super responsive host and the place was stocked with fun extras like shampoo, body wash, etc. The place was very clean. We could live in the hot tub at the naturalist! The most unique experience! Definitely need AWD/4WD to get in and out! Do not ignore this! The way in and out is an adventure, but well worth the stay.

The property is beautiful - the owners have put a lot of thought into every aspect and need we may have during our stay. The beauty of the rock formations and the embedded hot tub cannot be put into words! The drive in is rugged - a 4WD is needed but added some adventure to the stay. We definitely enjoyed our trip!

This was such a magical experience the views were breathtaking. The morning fog was ethereal and the way down there was definitely an experience. I can’t wait to go back.

If you're looking for the perfect place for a romantic getaway, this is the place for you! We absolutely loved the views, the cozy cabin, and the cliffside hot tub. We were able to bring our pups along for the trip which was a huge plus for us too. The cabin location is secluded in the woods, but is still super close to many restaurants and main attractions in Red River Gorge. Mike was an excellent host and communicator, and shared very detailed instructions to get to the cabin. We highly recommend this perfect mountain hideaway!!

This house has a very homey feeling; from the books to the wall decor. We loved the outdoor space, especially the fire pit up against a huge rock face. It would be great to develop the rock for private sport climbing! The only thing we didn't realize when booking was that there was no oven. Fortunately, we used the grill instead! We would stay here again.
