The Russet - Family Cabin | Hot Tub | Kid Games | King Bed | Sleeps 8

We loved our stay here! We truly enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, particularly the hot tub at the end of a long day of hiking and the sunsets from the front deck were especially nice! The cabin is beautifully done and the attention to small details was appreciated - including the chocolates in the Master Bedroom Suite! Our host Mike was super friendly and very responsive to our questions. He truly insured we enjoyed our stay and we have already recommended it to friends. As noted in other reviews, the last half mile is gravel - we had a front wheel drive Highlander and made it ok; a 4WD would be even better. I would check with Mike if you have a small, low-sitting car. We will be back for sure next year!

Hosts are very communicative, Some trouble with tv which wasn’t the end of the world as we needed a break from screens anyway and the dryer broke, but they were on top ofit. The property is clean and well stocked. We enjoyed being tucked away from everything and it was nice having the hot tub right outside the door.Few suggestions - we recommend a gate at the end of the deck (to help contain dogs and kids at night); S'more's kit (at least the metal sticks for the marshmallows); and the directions were a little confusing. If you just put in the address provided, it will bring you right to the official driveway and then you just need to go left up the drive and be sure to make the first 2 lefts after that to get to the right cabin. The long gravel road is very bumpy up to the cabins so a small car might struggle. Thanks for a great week in RRG!

Great stay! Loved all the little detail, everything well labeled and kitchen is well equipped.

Great location that was perfect for our family of six. Thoughtful attention to detail and small amenities included. Excellent communication with host and hope to come back again in the spring!

Came down from Toledo with a small group for a climbing weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful location right in the he middle of everything The Red has to offer. Beautiful cabin, full of amenities, and the owners were a pleasure to work with. 10/10 would definitely rent again
