Rockface Retreat - 75' High Cliffside Cabin | Panoramic Views | Hot Tub | Steam Shower

We just got back from staying at Rockface Retreat and honestly… it’s one of those places that’s hard to put into words until you experience it. Everything was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up — but what really sets this place apart is the wow factor. Being tucked right into the rockface makes it feel completely private and unlike anywhere we’ve ever stayed. One of my favorite unexpected highlights was the steam shower — and the view from it! Not something you come across often, and it made the whole experience feel even more elevated. The host was great. Communication was quick and helpful, and the detailed directions in the welcome email made getting there easy (which we appreciated since it’s a pretty unique location). Our favorite part though? Sitting outside at night by the fire, listening to the frogs and crickets. It was so peaceful — the kind of quiet you don’t realize you need until you have it. A heads up for anyone booking — there are stairs… a lot of them. We grabbed groceries before arriving so we didn’t have to make extra trips, and I’d definitely recommend doing the same. We would absolutely stay here again. It’s one of those places that makes you say “wow” the second you see it — and clearly we’re not the only ones, because after sharing photos, we already have friends planning their own trips. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something unique, peaceful, and memorable.

We had an incredible stay at Rockface Retreat. The cabin itself is absolutely amazing—beautifully designed, well maintained, and clearly thought out with attention to detail. Everything felt comfortable, clean, and high quality. What really stood out was how peaceful and well-located it is. It feels tucked away and private, but still close enough to everything you’d want to explore. It made for the perfect balance of relaxing at the cabin and getting out to enjoy the area. We've been fortunate to travel quite a bit, and this may be our most memorable anniversary trip so far. Overall, it was one of those places that just works—you settle in quickly and don’t want to leave. We’re definitely coming back again.

Rockface Retreat was the coolest vacation rental we have ever been to! Everything felt very high end and luxury and is definitely worth it to book! We enjoyed the deck and fire table with great views. Mike made it easy to find the rental and was very detailed leading up to our stay.

We had the best time staying at rockface retreat, the shower is awesome, and the view is even better! Mike was very helpful and answered all our questions and allowed us to park our SXS trailer at the bottom of the hill! Loved all the extras included just in case we forgot something essential.

We spent a few incredible days at Rockface. After 22 years together, we wanted a quiet getaway to relax and enjoy some time as a couple, and this place was perfect for that. The cabin is beautiful, very clean, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. We loved the hot tub and the views—it truly is a special place to disconnect and enjoy the moment. Everything was very well prepared, and we felt completely comfortable throughout our entire stay. We would definitely return again. Thank you for creating such a special place to rest and enjoy ourselves!!
